Quick Release

Fantastic item realy well built makes a nice click when fitted

using on my skyline 5/5 great product thanksAlso this product does ding if you were wondering.

Arrived promptly and as described

Quick release feels solid, easy enough to install (though there weren't any instructions that I can see). The only downside I can see is that the supplied screws are very very soft and the heads strip very easily.Feels nice and solid with no play (beyond what was already in the rack/column). I fitted to a Mk1 MX5 using a boss adaptor from eBay.Also includes rings to give you a ground for the horn which is a nice touch.

I was expecting it to be perfect, but is not. It looks cool we all know that and is useful for many different reasons, the only reason i cant rate it 5/5 is that the hub after only a month that i have it, it's starting to have an issue that annoys me quite a lot. After locking the steering wheel back in making the usual bell sound i start driving and at some point i can fell it locking in again slightly, making the bell sound again in a much quieter way, like if its not locking properly immediately like it should, and its only been a month, no signs of use yet, looks brand new but does that which can be scary, you're driving and all of the sudden you hear the bell again and think that for 5 mins the wheel was not properly locked in.. now, i don't know if im the only one, because everyone else seemed hyped about this product ( which is why i choose nrg ) , but im a bit disappointed, feels unsafe.

Stared off really well but after a couple of track days the QR developed some play in it. Amazon would not accept returns so contacted NRG and they didn’t give a crap. No support on rebuilding or replacing, nothing. Just to go back to where you purchased it. Removed and installed OMP LW. 100 times better than this. Feels much better built and gives you confidence on track.

Great product easy to fit and easily removed however, the carbon fibre one doesn’t make the ‘ding’ noise when it says all gen 2 do it, I saw a video when someone took it off it does it is there any way how to make it do it or how to take the collar off?

Illegal in Australia but for legal reasons I’m not in Australia mate

I recently installed the NRG Innovations SRK-200BK Quick Release in my car, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This Gen 2.0 quick release feels solid and well-built—the black body and black ring have a sleek, professional look that matches my interior perfectly. The quick release mechanism works smoothly and securely, making it incredibly easy to remove the steering wheel when I need to. Whether for racing, security, or just customization, it has improved both the functionality and aesthetic of my car’s setup. The mechanism locks into place with a satisfying click, ensuring that the wheel stays securely mounted when driving. What I also appreciate is the high-quality construction—it feels much more durable than others I’ve tried, and there’s no wiggle or looseness once it’s locked in. The installation process was straightforward, and it fits my aftermarket steering wheel without any issues.

It pushes the steering wheel closer to the driver, but the position isnt bad. more of a race car feel, even with a short hub. I love the way it looks. Super easy to install, and being able to remove the wheel while working on other things in the car makes things so much easier. Definitely worth it!

100% worth it , and make sure to buy it when it’s discounted for a good price and amazing quality and there’s is there is ding sound as well 😌
